Research on Learning and Performance: 8 possible developments

Only his opinion, but I like them...

1. Convergence of work and learning. If learning hasn't been merged into work, it will have failed.
2. Treat the learner as you would a customer. Research their needs, monitor their feelings, implement Learner Relationship Management.
3. Co-create learning experiences with the learner, don't develop in a vacuum..
4. Everything will be connected. No more silos, no more islands, no more slack.
5. Parametric design. Learning as yet another service on the Semantic Web.
6. Visual culture and learning. It's too effective to pass up.
7. Time continues to accelerate. Real-time business will dictate that all learning be assembled on the fly.
8. One world. It keeps on shrinking.

E-Learning Guru Kevin Kruse's site... he says... Life is short.
Have fun, learn, and have fun helping others learn.

National Learning Network Fairly dull but links to non-departmental government agencies in the e-learning field.

British Association for Open Learning the place to create opportunities - learning centres in the uk, flexible learning in the uk

E-Learning - How to Keep E-learning Students Online: Communication is the answer. An article in the elearning magazine
